Connecting citizens and professionals in co-producing better services
We believe that creating effective, responsive services starts with bridging the gap between citizens and professionals. We know that co-production can transform service delivery but that the reality of connecting your workforce and those in receipt of services can be challenging, complex and time consuming.
It is worth the investment; co-production is essential for the survival of efficient and effective services.
We support organisations in embracing co-production by offering a range of services that empower individuals to make their voices heard. Our approach ensures that people feel confident and prepared to take an active role in shaping the services they experience.
We Offer:
- Citizen panels
- Expertise in co-producing services
- Training and briefing sessions
- Support and facilitation at co-produced meetings and events
Our Impact:
We work with Local Authorities to embed co-production approaches in service transformation utilising tools such as citizen panels, circles of support and capturing citizen voice.
We facilitated the Welsh Government’s first National Social Services Citizen Panel, a key element in developing the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014. This initiative successfully demonstrated how drawing on the knowledge and experiences of individuals can shape policies and services that are more responsive to community needs.
We also run the Wales Mental Health and Wellbeing Forum, who lead the way in creating co-production guidance and deliver training to organisations such as Welsh Local Government Association and NHS Wales Executive.
