I am passionate about using media and co-production to empower service users and petition for change.

Owen is an experienced comms lead, writer and videographer who has worked with Practice Solutions since 2007. He has worked extensively on our digital projects with clients across Wales. He is experienced at managing and delivering projects, ensuring high quality and effective communications.

For over ten years, Owen has worked as a writer and communications officer in the arts sector. He has written for national publications including The i, TheArtsDesk and the British Film Institute. In 2021, he was selected from thousands of applicants to take part in Channel 4’s prestigious scriptwriting course.

In 2022, Owen delivered a groundbreaking immersive media project called StoryTrails. In partnership with BBC, BFI and StoryFutures Academy, Owen used 3D scanning and audio to create an interactive map of Swansea. He captured the untold stories of the city, prioritising the voices of under-represented communities.

As well as delivering website development and comms strategy, Owen is an associate for our digital team. He specialises in co-production, leading projects that give participants an equal say and teach digital skills. He has delivered co-productions with children in care, people with neurodivergency and people with diabilities.
