Caitlin Snuggs, BSc(hons), BPSC, has over 10 years of experience in Health and Social Care, delivering person-centred services at both tactical and strategic levels. Caitlin qualified in Psychology at the University of Exeter and is currently pursuing an LLM in Human Rights at Swansea University.

Caitlin has held national strategic roles, including developing a quality assurance programme for Learning Disabilities for Welsh Government and leading the implementation of Discharge to Recover then Assess in Wales. Caitlin was the Project Lead for the SCW Dementia strength-based proposal, creating learning materials and practice guides focused on dementia, learning disabilities, and autism. Skilled in research and data analysis, Caitlin has a deep understanding of ‘What Matters’ conversations and is dedicated to improving customer engagement and accessibility.

Caitlin’s professional journey includes roles such as Quality and Performance Improvement Manager for Learning Disabilities and Neurodevelopment at NHS Wales Delivery Unit. Caitlin has also worked with Inclusion Gloucestershire as a Project Lead in the Research & Innovation Portfolio, focusing on health inequalities and premature mortality. Caitlin’s commitment to ongoing education is evident through her pursuit of an Open University qualification in Changing Law: Mental Capacity Legislation alongside their accredited Level 7 in Health and Social Care Management.
