National Social Care Conference 2023
Hosted by our clients ADSS Cymru and produced by Practice Solutions, the National Social Care Conference is the leading annual showcase and networking event for the social care sector in Wales.
This year, the event returned to north Wales for the first time in eight years, and our friends and colleagues gave attendees from across Wales and beyond a warm welcome.
The event sold out for the first time in its history and attracted record levels of interest and support from exhibitors and generous sponsors.
This was our second year as an in-person event after two years of being online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The shared delight of being together in-person again was palpable.
As social care delivery becomes increasingly complex, it felt particularly important to come together in a supportive and engaged atmosphere.
The programme themes of Technology and Early Intervention and Prevention fostered a space for open and honest conversations, with a focus on amplifying the voices of lived experience.
DHO
As well as producing the conference on behalf of ADSS Cymru, we were delighted to exhibit at the event, where we launched our expanded Developing Healthy Organisations (DHO) programme.
The conference provided the perfect setting to discuss the big issues facing organisations, and how the expertise, passion and unique approach of our DHO workshops and training can help.

Conference highlights film
We were extra busy at conference this year!
Alongside producing the event and launching the DHO programme, our dedicate and enthusiastic team also produced a film during the conference. Our digital team had a fantastic time talking to attendees and capturing the atmosphere, live-editing the footage and showing the finished film in the final session.
