Joining the Dots: Conversations that Matter

Today, on International Women’s Day 2022, we are delighted to launch Joining the Dots, a brand new podcast featuring members of the Practice Solutions team leading conversations that matter with our wide network of people we work with.

In Joining the Dots, we will be leading conversations with some of the inspirational people who we work with each day to consider how, together, we can we can do more and better in making a difference.

For the first episode of Joining the Dots, our Chief Executive, Sarah Day, brings together three inspiring women leaders working in social care and career development for a deep, funny and inspiring conversation that illustrates exactly what makes women incredible leaders and instigators of positive change.

This episode features Alison Bulman, Head of Social Services in Powys, Aimee Bateman, Award-winning Founder/CEO and Rejnider Mandair, Senior Social Worker at London Borough of Camden.

To mark International Women’s Day 2022, four women leaders working in the fields of social care and career development discuss overcoming judgement, how women can empower each other through mutual support, and the incredible contribution that women make in the social care sector in highly challenging circumstances.

Host

Sarah Day, Chief Executive of Practice Solutions

Guests

Alison Bulman, Head of Social Services in Powys and President of ADSS Cymru

Alison Bulman was educated in Swansea and began work as a teenager in a local care home.
