I love working with people to support excellent communication.

Harriet joined the core team in 2022, having initially worked as an Associate for Practice Solutions in 2021. She is passionate about communication in all its forms and honed her skills first as a recording and touring musician in an indie pop band, later moving into working in all kinds of roles for the charitable arts sector.

After working in festival and events production, artist liaison, and youth theatre and literacy projects for Literature Wales, Hay Festival and Supersonic Festival, Harriet found her specialism in communication and business development at regional arts centres. Latterly, she worked at Artichoke Trust, which produces the Lumiere Light Festival and other largescale, free public arts events across the UK. After realising that what she liked best about working in the arts was when it felt possible to make even a small difference in people’s lives, the move to Practice Solutions and developing experience of a new sector felt like a homecoming.

Harriet has a first class honours BA in English Literature from Cardiff University and is interested in psychotherapy, dancing, yoga, food, cats, art and adventures.
